Why should I get regular massage?
For anyone who has had a massage, we could all certainly agree that the post-massage feeling is wonderful. Our clients often find themselves saying: “I feel so much better, thank you!” But when should you book an appointment for another massage? How soon is too soon? Is more frequent better for your body?
If you’re a healthy person who gets the slight “niggle” every now and than, once a month is just cheap insurance for you body reducing the risk of pulling a muscle etc and you get to unwind and relax, it’s a win-win no matter how you look at it. However if you are very active, deal with a lot of stress or just have chronic pain; every fortnight would be a better interval.
There are occasions where weekly appointments are needed whether it be getting control of an issue or you’re training for that big game/event and you’re really putting your body through it’s paces and need to keep it in optimal condition.
